A profitable alternative to soldering, Würth Elektronik's robust PowerOne elements are suitable for supplying and distributing high currents in PCB-based systems. Depending on pin configuration and layout, currents of up to 1000A are possible.

The high-current contacts are suitable for joining elements from PCB to PCB or PCB to housing, and as connecting elements for fuses, IGBTs, switches and cables on the PCB.

The contacts can also be used for both board-to-board connection and wire-to-board for screwing ring-terminal connections.

PowerOne elements from Würth are pressed into the PCB, an extremely cost-effective manufacturing step which is easy to integrate into the process chain. Using appropriate placement tools, it is possible to simultaneously press in several power elements.

Already successfully implemented in a wide range of designs, the method used to produce PowerOne elements allows individual adjustments to be made to constructions and dimensions.
