Samtec’s robust PowerStrip™/35 Discrete Wire Cable Assembly offers rugged features and is ideal for high performance applications. When mated with Samtec’s PowerStrip™/35 high power terminal (PET Series), the system has a current carrying capacity of 28.9A per contact at an ambient temperature of 75°C (with 2 gold plated pins energized and 10 AWG cable).

The PowerStrip™/35 Discrete Wire Cable Assembly (PESS Series) is available with 2, 4, 6 or 8 dual leaf blade contacts on a 6,35mm (0.250) pitch. The system is double- or single-ended, with 10 or 12 AWG discrete wire cable, and choice of assembled lengths. It also features a positive latching system for increased unmating force, making it ideal for rugged and other harsh environments.

Samtec’s PowerStrip™ interconnect family is designed to meet a variety of high current applications, and includes three product levels differentiated by size and power output: PowerStrip™/35, PowerStrip™/25 and PowerStrip™/15. In addition to the discrete wire power system, the PowerStrip™ family includes a power/signal combination cable system, power and power/signal combinations in right angle and vertical orientations, as well as a hinged system and press fit termination for board level applications.
