Partnership aims to develop & design ASIC solutions

A strategic partnership focusing on PROFINET technolies has been struck by Molex and Innovasic. The partnership has seen Molex and Innovasic design and produce ASIC solutions for industrial networking backed up by high levels of expertise and application support.

Molex and Innovasic have developed a completely new dedicated solution to provide PROFINET Isochronous Real Time (IRT) capability for manufacturers looking to implement automation devices such as field devices, remote I/O, drives and field instruments. Both companies are actively involved with industrial trade organisations, such as PROFIBUS/PROFINET International (PI) and envisage that the cooperation will directly increase their abilities to provide best-in-class solutions to worldwide customers.
