High Side Current Sense Amplifier with 10uV Offset & Zero DriftLinear Technology has announced the LTC6102, the most precise high side current sense amplifier available. Maximum input offset voltage of the LTC6102 is only 10uV and it can accept differential sense voltages up to 2V. The resulting 106dB of dynamic range allows the LTC6102 to resolve micro-amps from amps of current. Compared to other current sense amplifiers, the dramatically lower offset of the LTC6102 allows for proportionately lower sense resistance without sacrificing resolution. Lower sense resistance means less wasted power and heat. The precision of the LTC6102 is bolstered by a near zero guaranteed input offset drift of less than 50nV/°C and a guaranteed input bias current of less than 3nA.

The low-power, single-channel DAC has a buffered voltage output and is ideal for space-constrained and battery-powered applications found in a variety of markets.
Differential Amplifiers Enable High-Speed ADC PerformanceLinear Technology has announced the LTC6400-20 and LTC6401-20, ADC drivers that achieve unprecedented performance on a single 3V supply. These fully differential amplifiers include gain setting resistors, simplifying the challenge of driving the highest performance high-speed ADCs. The LTC6400-20 provides a fixed gain of 20dB with -93dBc third-order intermodulation distortion (IMD3) performance and noise figure of 6.5dB for a 140MHz input frequency.
