Providing box header connectors for IDE, LCD, FDD, printer, RS232 (5) and USB, plus other connections for VGA, RS485, Ethernet and keyboard/mouse, the new Vortex86 6047-4S from Icop Technology UK covers the majority of industrial embedded requirements.

Based on a System-on-Chip 166MHz processor (real time clock with lithium battery back-up), the Vortex86 is PC/104 compliant, has a 32-bit x-PCI interface and is compatible with PCI Rec 2.2. With 128MB of onboard SDRAM, the module supports VGA and STN, DSTN and TFT flat panel displays.

The watchdog timer is programmable from 4mS to one hour and audio is fully compliant with AC97 V2.1. Measuring 4.01 x 5.67 inches, the Vortex86 6047-4S is powered by a 5V supply and has an operating temperature of -20 degC to +70 degC.
