Pre-wired rack meets high power DC applications
Citing the challenge of building high power racks, Keysight Technologies launcheda rack system for high-power DC applications at the electronica exhibition in Munich. Because design engineers and technicians tend not to be experienced in high power racking, this new prewired N8900 Series rack system reduces system complexity and saves time for engineers designing and implementing high-power systems for challenging applications requiring up to 90 ...
Keysight expands multi-vendor services capability
Keysight Technologies says it will now provide single vendor service solutions for a broad range of multi-vendor products. The services include calibration of physical, dimensional and optical products; training; and company-wide support. The company's multi-vendor services include single-source solutions from a trusted partner for electronic, physical, dimensional and mechanical calibration and technical expertise and OEM repair capabilities.
Oscilloscope option enhances signal analysis
The R&S RTM-K15 history and segmented memory option expands the maximum memory depth of the R&S RTM bench oscilloscope to 460 Msample per channel. The segmented memory has a variable depth ranging from 10 ksample to 20 Msample, enabling acquisition of up to 45,000 individual waveform segments.
Flexible resolution oscilloscopes exhibit at electronica
Established in 1991, Pico Technology produces high quality PC- based oscilloscopes and offer a modern alternative to traditional and costly bench-top test and measurement equipment. PicoScope’s are used in a wide range of applications across many different industries due to their portability, connectivity and outstanding value for money.
New fusion splicers launch onto rental market
Self-employed fibre optic installers can now rent Fujikura's newly launched fusion splicers from Livingston. The new products include the 70S which is suitable for use with both single and multi-mode fibres (including ITU-T G. 651/652/653/655/657). It features a 320x magnification 2-axis camera with CMOS image sensor a programmable wind protector, an automated tube heater, a high capacity lithium-ion battery and a 4.73in colour LCD
Software enhances oscilloscopes vertical resolution
The high definition (HD) mode software increases the vertical resolution of the R&S RTO and R&S RTE oscilloscopes to up to 16 bits, a 256-fold improvement over 8-bit resolution. To achieve this higher resolution, the signal is low-pass filtered directly after the A/D converter. The filter reduces the noise, thereby increasing the signal-to-noise ratio.
Triple output power supply has twelve ranges
Aim-TTi has differentiated its laboratory power supply from other triple output power supplies, by having all three outputs with a similar power capability with each providing 0 to 35V at 0 to 3A. Range switching extends the capabilities so that outputs can be set to 16V/6A or 70V/1.5A for maximum versatility.
LCD display enhances 1800W electronic load module
INTEPRO SYSTEMS has introduced a 1800W modular electronic load which boasts an 8-inch TFT LCD colour display with multiple language selection that is visible across the room. The 6-slot chassis is rated at 1800W and can be specified with up to six 300W or three 600W modules. Modules are available with current ratings of 60 or 120 amps with voltages up to 80 or 10 or 20 amps with voltages up to 500V.
Source measure unit extends applications reach
Keithley Instruments has added to its benchtop SMU instrumentation range with a capacitive touchscreen graphical user interface (GUI). It has launched the Model 2460 SourceMeter which offers users higher power sourcing (up to 105V, 7A DC/7A pulse, 100W max.) with 0.012% basic measurement accuracy and 6½-digit resolution, making it ideal for high power, high precision I-V characterisation of modern materials and high power devices.
Device programmer covers 4500 different devices
SEGGER Microsystems, has combined its Flasher ARM, Flasher RX and Flasher PPC into one single unit, the Flasher PRO device programmer. It can program all supported devices in PC-based mode and most devices also in stand-alone mode. The programmer can be controlled using RS232, handshake lines, USB and Ethernet, providing a high degree of flexibility combined with high speed flash programming.
