Tunable bandpass filter meets military standards
A new 30–520MHz tunable bandpass filter and associated evaluation board from NewEdge Signal Solutions is available at Richardson RFPD with full design support. The SAX239 offers a combination of power handling (+33 dBm) and DC power consumption (< 100 mW) in a small form factor.
Wideband RF synthesisers feature design and versatility
Analog Devices have announced the ADF5356, a 13.6 GHz next-generation wideband synthesiser with integrated voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO). The synthesiser targets applications such as wireless infrastructure, microwave point-to-point links, electronic test and measurement, and satellite terminals. A complimentary synthesiser product, the ADF4356, operates to 6.8GHz and is comparable in performance.
Power amplifiers deliver high gain and power in bare die
Two new power amplifiers from MACOM Technology Solutions are now available at distributor Richardson RFPD with full design support. The two-watt MAAP-011247-DIE and 1-watt MAAP-011248-DIE are distributed power amplifier offered as bare die parts. Operating from DC to 22 GHz, these power amplifiers provide high linear gain and output power at 3-dB compression.
RF sub-modules keep mobile devices small as WiFi speed increases
Murata has begun mass production of its LMFE3NFB-Jxx series RF sub-modules for WiFi applications. Using proprietary technology, the sub-modules feature a smaller front-end circuit in order to incorporate the WiFi function.
Sound processor performs volume adjustment & audio mixing
ROHM has recently announced the availability of a sound processor capable of high resolution audio playback that performs volume adjustment and audio mixing for car audio and navigation systems requiring high sound quality. In recent years the proliferation of quieter cabins and higher resolution sound sources resulting from the introduction of EVs and PHVs has increased demand for more accurate audio representation – even in the car a...
