Compact LED drivers suit integrated lighting
DC current and DC voltage LED drivers from Recom can be built into furniture, hidden under shelving, or integrated into applications with limited space constraints.
The compact RACD04 (DC current) series is aimed at LED spotlights, reading lamps and accent lighting, whereas the DC voltage RACV04 series is for LED strips, background and wall lighting, and furniture and cabinet illumination.
Each 4W AC/DC LED power supply offers IEC protection class II and is in a casing measuring just 38 x 27 x 21mm and weighs 40g.
The RACD04 series has 350, 500 and 700mA DC current terminals; the RACV04 has 12 and 24V DC current terminals. The isolation voltage in either case is 3.5 kV AC/60seconds. These LED drivers are classified to IP65, making them suitable for damp areas such as kitchens and bathrooms, or covered garden or outdoor facilities. The drivers protect against short circuit, over-voltage, over-load and over-heating, and are certified according to CE, DB, CSA and UL8750 standards. They also comply with the RoHS2.1 and ErP directives. Both series have a three-year guarantee and are available from the company’s distribution network.
