The Mean Well GS160 series, a 160-watt power supply that complies with worldwide standards for external power supplies, including ErP second step (Energy-related Products, 2009/125/EC), ENERGY STAR, EISA 2007 (Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007) of USA and MEPS (Minimum Energy Performance Standards) of Australia.
The Mean Well GS160 series enhances the existing range of GS external power supplies with very low “no load power consumption” (<0.5W) the whole series offers real energy saving at both standby mode and active mode providing up to 94% of high efficiency.

Using the standard IEC320-C14 inlet as the input connector, the Mean Well GS160 series has 90 - 264VAC universal input with PFC function. Supplied with an earth ground pin and enclosed by UL 94V-0 rated plastic case these Class I units can effectively prevent users from electrical shocks.

The GS160 series can be supplied with 5 different Output voltages from 12 volt to 48 volt. By using LLC topology the GS160 series, with only free air convection, can operate from -30° to +50° under full load condition (@ 230VAC), and even up to +70° ambient temperature with the appropriate de-rating.

The Mean Well GS160 has global safety and EMC certificates TUV, UL, CUL, BSMI, CCC, CB, FCC, and CE making the units ideal for applications such as consumer electronics, POS system, LCD display and office equipment.
