The RAC20-N from RECOM is an AC/DC converter in modular design for mounting onto PCBs. The compact 2x1 inch casing is ideal for use in harsh industrial environments. The AC/DC converter is equipped with a universal input for 90–264V AC, and is pin-compatible with RAC05-SC, RAC06-SC, RAC10-SC and RAC20-SB models for an easy power upgrade or reduced-cost version without other alterations to the PCB.

This 20W AC/DC power supply in protection class II has 3.3, 5, 12, 15 and 24V DC outputs, and operates at efficiency rates of up to 83%. The low open-circuit power consumption of less than 0.25W complies with the ErP ecodesign directive, and the module’s especially robust construction is suitable for use at a wide range of temperatures from -40 to +70°C.

Press-insert nuts ensure secure and vibration-free installation to withstand hard impacts and vibration in harsh operating environments.

The module is obviously intended for industrial applications as well as testing and measuring systems as well as portable units. Short-circuit, overload and overvoltage protection as well as electromagnetic compatibility according to EN55022 Class B round off the features.

RAC20-N is certified according to IEC, UL and EN60950-1 and bears a CE mark, and comes with a three-year guarantee from RECOM. The converter is now available from the RECOM distribution service.
