50W power supply targets low power applications
An AC/DC single output power supply, designed for low power applications, has been released by TDK-Lambda. With an input operation range of 85-265VAC and a temperature operation range of -10 to +70°C, the RWS50B 50W power supply is claimed to provide exceptional thermal performance for cooler operation.
Currents up to 10A, with typical efficiency up to 88%, are delivered by the power supply's output voltage range of 5-48VDC. Over current protection with automatic recovery, and latching over voltage protection are among the supply's features. The RWS50B is also user adjustable by -10 or +15%, accommodating non-standard system voltages.
Suitable for general industrial, automation, broadcast, test and measurement and LED signage applications, the RWS50B comes with a long life e-cap and a five year warranty. According to the Low Voltage and RoHS2 Directives, the CE marked power supply achieves curve B conducted and radiated EMI performance (EN55011/EN55022-B, FCC class B, VCCI-B) and is approved to a wide range of safety standards including UL/ CSA/EN60950-1.
