Noritake Itron’s TU480X272C-K612A1T intelligent iSMART 4.3in TFT analogue touch screen module features a fast access, 100 page display memory with re-usable display pages and menus. A raft of applications range from elevators to processing and temperature and climate control.
This 108x80mm PCB mounted module incorporates a 480x272 pixels, 95x53.8mm display, delivering 16 million colours and incorporating 128MB of Flash, a 4G+ micro SDHC slot and LED backlight control. It operates from a 5V supply, with 3.3V to drive the logic. Text messages are programmable using ASCII and MultiFonts.

I/Os abound with a full RS232 port, SPI and I2C Interfaces, USB 2.0, up to 24 user digital I/Os, two analogue inputs and two PWM outputs. There’s also up to 8x8 key control, real time clock and date and an integrated debugger.

This display can run text and animations, and features automatic menu control, with the display rotatable 90 and 180O. Options include 5V logic interfacing, RS485, CAN bus, infrared control and more.

##IMAGE_3_R##iSMART’s powerful but easy to use GUI creates and links buttons, text, shapes, images and photos. Application pages can be loaded at initialisation or in real time, with template capabilities according to user applications. Display buttons can be multi-function and dynamic layering enables effective and flexible screen designs to be created.

Unlike many TFT modules, Itron’s iSMART can be used with small CPU hosts by storing complex menus, functions and images on an SDHC 4G+ card. Storage is also available on the internal Flash.
