2011 will be a milestone anniversary for Essemtec as the Swiss company becomes 20 years old. Essemtec has grown from a small business to an international provider of production systems. For Martin Ziehbrunner, CEO, an anniversary is similar to an award, of which Essemtec has won several throughout the past 20 years: An acknowledgement of good performance and an incentive for the future, but not a reason to relax.

Essemtec announces that it has been awarded a Global Technology Award in the category of Assembly Tools for its Tower Automatic SMD Storage System. The award was presented to Steve Pollock, Vice President of Sales, during a Tuesday, October 26, 2010 ceremony that took place during SMTA International at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort in Orlando, FL.

Experiences gained in solar cell printing have been incorporated into Essemtec's Tucano automatic stencil printer.
