Now available in 27 sizes, ranging from 75x50x33 to 430x300x120mm, ROLEC has extended its bestselling aluCASE range of diecast aluminium electronics and electrical enclosures with four new sizes. The larger sizes are: 280x250x120, 380x250x120, 330x300x120 and 430x300x120mm.

Base sections from the four larger aluCASE sizes are common with ROLEC’s commandCASE range which features distinctive ‘wings’ for suspension arm applications. The enclosures are very tough (IP66, IP67, IP69K) and extremely versatile - they can be fitted to walls, machines and bulkheads.

Cases can be installed with the lid closed to help protect the seal and the electronics inside. The stainless steel screws are concealed by aluminium or ABS clip-on covers. For installation and servicing, the lid is held in place by polypropylene retaining straps, removing the need for hinges.

The standard colour for aluCASE is grey (RAL 7040) but other colours are available on request (16 colours are held in stock and can be specified at no extra cost). Options include transparent polycarbonate lids, integrated hinges (with no visible fixing screws), a key lock and EMC shielding.

Prices for aluCASE start at £18.50. Customising options include CNC milling and drilling; silk-screen and tampo printing of legends and logos; removal of PCB pillars to create extra space; assembly of cable glands and other components.
