Compact battery enclosures family expanded
New Age Enclosures has expanded their Compact Battery Enclosures to include the Compact AA Wall Kit. The Compact AA Wall Kit is a self-powered enclosure that may be wall or pole mounted for an unlimited range of uses.
The outer dimension of the enclosure are 3.6”x1.4”x1.3". It holds 2 AA batteries and supports a PCB measuring 3.4”x1.2” either .062” or .039” thick. The wall cradle is included and is the reason this enclosure is called a kit. The cradle is designed with locking tabs. The tabs allows a user to unclasp the enclosure from its location to replace batteries without having to unscrew the cradle from its location.
The standard Compact AA Kit is molded from a Black or White UL94-HB ABS plastic. To keep unit cost and assembly at a minimum the unit is designed to capture the PCB in a method requiring only the included assembly screws.
