The DP800 series of power supplies from Rigol Technologies is designed for easy deployment in research, development and all laboratory applications. It is Rigol's next generation power supply solution and extends the existing product line offering an optimal price performance ratio.

The power supplies provide triple-channel isolated outputs up to 190W, with an excellent power regulation rate and load regulation rate, a fast transient response time (<50ms), and a ripple noise below 350mVrms/2mVpp.

The instruments have sophisticated protection against over voltage, over current and over temperature and offer a number of optional advanced functions such as timing, switch delay, analysing, monitoring, pre-set, trigger sync etc.

Additionally, there is a built-in 3.5 inch TFT screen for V/A/W measurement and waveform display. Versatile connectivity is given by USB Host&Device support.

Customers can choose from additional three different models within the DP800 series: the Model DP831 which offers 10W power and 8V/5A, 30V/2A and -30V/2A DC output. The DP821 offers 140W power and 60V/1A, 8V/10A DC output and the DP811 with 200W power and 40V/5A or 20V/10A DC output.

Users can extend the function/features of this lower priced series, similar to the DP800A series, by following software code options: 1mV & 1mA high resolution option (HIRES-DP800), 4 Lines Trigger In&Out (DigitalIO-DP800), on-line monitoring & analysis (AFK-DP800), RS232- and LAN (LXI)-Interface (Interface-DP800) and USB to GPIB-converter (USB-GPIB).

Designed to target the requirements of R&D engineers, education and research labs as well as production test engineers and advanced researchers with its innovative technology, industry-leading specifications, and powerful functions, Rigol's DP800 series is suitable for applications in the communications, aerospace/defence, research and education, industrial and consumer electronics, computing and instrumentation industries.
