Keysight Technologies awarded SC21 Silver status

Keysight has become the first test and measurement company to achieve SC21 (Supply Chains for the 21st Century) Silver Award status for both hardware and support services. The company was presented with the award by the ADS Group, a U.K. aerospace, defence, security and space trade organisation. The award presentation was held at the Finmecannica-Selex ES Edinburgh facility in Edinburgh.

Phil Curnock, head of supply chain at the ADS Group; Keysight’s SC21 sponsors Amanda Smith, head of asset management; and Fern Scott, procurement manager for Airbus Defence and Space Limited, presented the award to Keysight Technologies U.K.

Keysight has consistently achieved above 95 percent on quality and delivery performance metrics. Keysight also has achieved one of the highest manufacturing and business excellence scores amongst the 300 companies who have been recognised for an SC21 Award since 2006.

“We are honored and delighted to receive SC21 Silver Award status for our test and measurement instrumentation and growing services and support portfolio,” said Chris Rennie, managing director, Keysight Technologies UK. “We pride ourselves in delivering best-in-class products and services, which are fundamental to building strong, long-term relationships with our key aerospace and defence primes.

Airbus Defence and Space Limited congratulate Keysight on their successful SC21 Silver Award. “We were delighted to sponsor Keysight in the SC21 programme which allows us to further embrace opportunities on which to work including identifying best practices and utilising our own Supplier Evaluation Development (SED) process to mutual benefit” said Airbus Defence and Space, “The SC21 family will now provide an excellent forum for like-minded organisations to collaborate on issues affecting the stakeholders. SC21 shared processes such as the Continued Sustainable Improvement Process (CSIP) allows an outcome to benefit many parties. We look forward to your continued success and a greater level of positive engagement in the future with all stakeholders.

The U.K. aerospace and defense industry future is dependent on having an efficient supply chain in place. The purpose of the SC21 programme is to create a collaborative environment that enables greater efficiency, delivers continuous improvement and increases competitiveness across the key industry primes and stakeholders.
