The 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX Ethernet protocol decoders have been unveiled by Keysight Technologies. The Keysight N8825A (for 90000A, 90000 X-, 90000 Q-, Z- and V-Series oscilloscopes) and N8825B (for S-Series oscilloscopes) 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX Ethernet protocol decoders help network design engineers accelerate turn-on and debug of 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX Ethernet networking systems.

The instruments decode 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX Ethernet packets on compatible oscilloscopes with a minimum of 500-MHz bandwidth.

Engineers need to be able to determine if the physical signal and decoded Ethernet data are functioning correctly in their designs. The ability to view both raw and decoded data simultaneously makes it easy for engineers to determine where the issue resides in their designs. Keysight’s Ethernet decoder helps developers quickly decode and troubleshoot issues on their Ethernet devices.

The Keysight 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX Ethernet protocol decoders automatically set up Ethernet signals to make decode setup fast. The protocol decoder allows developers to see raw analog signals, decoded data and all Ethernet traffic in listing view and packet view. Developers can trigger and search on specific packets including IPv4, IPv6 and packet errors.
