Agilent announced that its InfiniiVision X-Series oscilloscopes are redefining the low-cost/high-performance threshold for educators.
The new Agilent InfiniiVision X-Series oscilloscopes will revolutionize the field of engineering education, said Adam Fontecchio, Ph.D., co-director of the A.J. Drexel Nanotechnology Institute at Drexel University. The ability to upgrade hardware capabilities after purchase through software add-ons opens new possibilities for continually updating course content to adapt to the changing needs of global engineering markets and to keep our engineering students on the cutting edge of instrumentation and practical skills.

Designed with educators in mind, Agilent's 26 DSO and MSO models (2000 X-Series and 3000 X-Series oscilloscopes, ranging from 70 to 500 MHz) deliver that unprecedented flexibility along with industry-leading price/performance and a feature set that includes:

The capabilities of four instruments in one, saving valuable bench space with an oscilloscope, logic analyzer, protocol analyzer, and WaveGen function generator, all in a single box.
A built-in 20-MHz function generator and the ability to upgrade bandwidth and memory, add 16 digital channels, WaveGen and measurement applications at any point after purchase (features unique to Agilent scopes), all with a standard three-year warranty.
Agilent's Educator's Oscilloscope Training Kit, which contains an array of built-in training signals and a comprehensive oscilloscope lab guide and tutorial for quick set up and easy upgrades.
Fast professional teaching tools using a graphical slide set to quickly teach oscilloscope and measurement basics.
