When designing a robot it is important to choose the correct sensors to enable it to be aware of its environment and perform the tasks required.

Each robot is equipped by a different type of position and proximity sensor such as ultrasonic, LiDAR and radar which will enable object detection, collision avoidance, navigation and surround view.
