Based on the open-loop measurement principle, the Hall-effect Current Sensors Eco (HCSE) family has been introduced by HARTING. The sensors can measure direct or alternating currents in the range of 100-800A, providing a direct representation of the primary current with an accuracy of up to ±1%.

Operating over a temperature range from -25 to +85°C, the Hall-effect current sensors are suited for use in thermally critical applications including power supplies for welding equipment, rectifiers for direct current drives or uninterruptible power supplies.

Covering a frequency range of 0-50kHz, the sensors can also measure signals with complex waveforms. By using proven Hall-effect technology to measure the magnetic field created by the current flowing in a conductor, the HCSE family provides non-contact, galvanically isolated measurements. They also feature high immunity to interference from the magnetic fields of external current-carrying conductors.

Standard sizes and a compact, unified shape across the product range allows integration into individual applications with a high degree of freedom.
