A Three-Phase Power Logger, the 1736 from Fluke is now in stock at distributor Farnell element14. It automatically captures and logs voltage, current, power, harmonics and nearly 500 other power quality parameters across three phases, to its product portfolio. It optimises system operations and minimises uncertainty to allow engineers to make better and more thorough power quality and energy consumption decisions.

The power logger measures three phases and one neutral environment with four flexible current probes. The probes capture and record dips, swells and inrush currents and include timestamp and severity labels to help pinpoint the source of power quality issues.

The instrument is conveniently powered from the measurement circuit, eliminating the need to find power outlet and running extension cords. More than 20 separate logging sessions can be viewed on the 1736’s bright, colour touch screen enhanced with an intuitive user experience.

The power logger’s “in-the-field” setup is simple and the auto correction system ensures engineers are connected correctly every time. Data can be viewed on the instrument, via the Fluke Connect mobile app and desktop software or on an established Wi-Fi connection.

Fluke Connect compatibility allows information to be accessed and shared remotely among team members who can maintain safer working distances and make actionable changes as needed. With the included Fluke Energy Analyze Plus software package users can download wirelessly, create measurement graphs, and automatically create and analyse detailed reports.

The Fluke 1736 is available for £2,689.99 from Farnell element14 in Europe. Included are the instrument, a power supply, voltage test leads, Fluke Energy Analyze Plus, alligator clips, a soft case, line cords, a colour coding set and documentation on a USB flash drive. Current probes, hard cases and Wi-Fi and BLE adapters also can be purchased separately to broaden functionality.
