Two new 4-channel high-end oscilloscopes with a large nine-inch colour display will be debuted at electronica in Munich by Rigol Technologies EU. The DS4000E is a versatile high-performance oscilloscope that incorporates many of the latest technologies and processes.

With bandwidths of 100 MHz and 200 MHz, sample rates up to 2GS / s per channel and with four analogue channels, the DS4000E series ideally fits many application areas, including research and development, universities and schools, production and development as well as the markets for communications, aerospace, industrial electronics, and many others.

The nine-inch colour display for better and clear signal representation and for optimal display of additional information, such as cursor positions and their coordinates, mathematical parameters and more.

For recording and processing of measuring data a memory depth of 14 million points per channel is available for large amounts of data, and with a waveform capture rate of 60,000 wafeforms/sec, the user can capture, display  and evaluate fast signal sequences (decoding).

The smallest vertical scale is 1 mV/div at a resolution of 8 bits.

The device features a dual-YX mode and multiple trigger options like Edge, Pulse, Video, Slope, Pattern as well as interfaces for RS232/UART, I2C, SPI, USB, CAN, LIN and FlexRay. Bus decoding for these communication interfaces is available optionally.

Hot keys for quick and easy operation are standard as well as the mask input for quick pass/fail decisions.

Rigol’s 3-year warranty and a 4-week test purchase makes it easier for the user to switch from another provider without any risk.

An extensive set of accessories is available including active and passive probes, high-voltage probes and a 19-inch frame, as well as software drivers for standard packages and high-level languages and the free operating software Ultrascope.
