Wideband power sensor for radar and digital communications testing to 18 GHz
The new Rohde & Schwarz NRP-Z81 wideband power sensor is available from TTi. The NRP-Z81 operates from 50 MHz to 18 GHz and offers all the functionality of a conventional peak power meter and more within the small housing of a power sensor. It can be operated using the R&S NRP power meter base unit, or any Windows PC using the R&S NRP-Z3 or Z4 USB adaptors.

Strategic Test has announced the UF2e-6110 two-channel 125 MS/s 8-bit Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG) PCI Express card. With synchronous multi-channel capability, the AWG card is well suited for creating complex waveforms in applications that include I&Q signal generation, RADAR system development, communications testing, laser positioning, and HDTV signal generation.

Arbitrary/function generators gain longer memory and system connectivity
The latest versions of the Tektronix AFG3000 arbitrary/function generators are now available from TTi (Thurlby Thandar Instruments). Designated AFG3021B and AFG3022B, these new models have an arbitrary waveform memory increased from 64k to 128k points. They also include full system connectivity via USB, GPIB and LAN interfaces, the latter being LXI compliant.
