A new software package allows the Yokogawa AQ7275 optical time-domain reflectometer (OTDR) to be used in unattended mode for detecting and monitoring faults occurring occasionally or at regular or irregular intervals in fibre-optic networks.

Rohde & Schwarz has expanded its extensive range of power sensors by adding two new models to the R&S NRP family. The new sensors are the first on the market to measure thermal power from DC up to 50 GHz and 67 GHz respectively.
