The smallest UL508 recognized high-voltage contactor
GIGAVAC has expanded their Advanced Switching Solutions portfolio with the industry's smallest UL508 recognized contactor for high current switching at 1000Vdc. Meeting and exceeding the requirements of IP67 and IP69 sealing, the RoHS-compliant HX22 was developed for use in solar combiner boxes and inverters.
Ideal for applications which require safe sealed arc-free switching, the HX22 contactor is UL rated for switching 175 amps at 1000Vdc and a continuous duty up to 300 amps. Measuring just 3.6 x 3.2 inches, the lightweight and compact HX22 uses GIGAVAC’s EPIC sealed switching technology.
Operating over a temperature range from -55°C to +85°C, the HX22 can safely be used in nearly any harsh environment including underwater applications. Not position sensitive, the HX22 allows for easy mechanical arrangement in any circuit.
High efficiency coils are offered in 12, 24, or 48Vdc versions. GIGAVAC’s dual coil design results in low coil power consumption and no EMI emission or crosstalk.
