Taxi paid by singing drove festival visitors in Finland

Unveiled at a festival in Finland, the Fortum Singalong Shuttle is a taxi that only accepts singing as payment. The emission free electric car rides became a popular form of transport at Finnish Ruisrock festival.

What if you could pay for your ride by singing? In Finland you can. Fortum Singalong Shuttle is the taxi that you pay by singing. The completely emission free rides are run on electric cars. Fortum Singalong Shuttle was introduced at Ruisrock festival in Finland from the 6th to 8th of July. It has reached a lot of attention globally and have been noticed by, for example, The New York Times, Mashable and South-Korean Naver.

Furthermore, Alma, an international pop star, travelled to her concert at Ruisrock festival with the environmentally friendly Fortum Singalong Shuttle. Alma commented: “It was great to travel to the gig with festival visitors and enjoy the music together! Paying by singing is fine by me!”

Completely emission free rides

The developer of Singalong Shuttle, clean energy company Fortum, offers a wide range of clean energy solutions and encourages its customers to live a more sustainable everyday life.
