The PowerRack, a mounting structure for inverters, has been released by Bentek. Complying with NEC 2014 section 690.12 Rapid Shutdown requirements, the PowerRack provides PV installers with a cost effective way to install three-phase inverters within 10 feet of the PV array.

With a versatile design, the PowerRack fits ABB, Advanced Energy, Chint, Schneider, SMA, Solar Edge, SolarMax and Solectria three-phase inverters. The PowerRacks can be shipped directly to any commercial site and three-phase inverters integrated and installed on commercial rooftops.

Bentek has also released the PowerSkid, a structure which is already integrated with three-phase inverters and Bentek AC disconnects. These structures can also be shipped directly to commercial sites. For protection from the environment and heat deration, Bentek's PowerShields can be mounted on both the PowerRack and the PowerSkid. This provides protection for three-phase inverters.

“Bentek is pleased to announce that it has shipped more than 20MW of our three-phase commercial Inverter PowerRacks, PowerSkids and PowerShields over the last 90 days,’ said John H Buckley Executive Sales and Marketing,  Bentek. “The product is now being released for general availability. The PowerRack is a flexible innovative racking solution for commercial three-phase decentralised inverters.”
