RECOM launch cost-effective premium DC-DC converters
RECOM has today announced two new series of DC-DC converters. Pin-compatible with common industry-standards, the new 10 Watt REC10-M and 15 Watt REC15-M converters are provided in a high-quality 2”x1” metal case. The new DC-DC converters are offered with single output (3.3V to 15V) as well as dual output voltages (±5VDC, ±12VDC or ±15VDC). The modules are available with an ultra-wide 4:1 input (9-36VDC or 18-75VDC) or 9-18VDC, 18-36VDC or 36-75VDC inputs.
Offering up to 87% efficiency, the new REC10-M and REC15-M have an operating temperature range of -40°C to +100°C (2:1 versions). RECOM’s new converters exhibit excellent start-up behavior, even with high capacitive loads up to 3.3mF.
Featuring a standard remote on/off pin, the new converters are protected against short circuit and overload. The standard isolation voltage is 2000VDC between input and output with an option to increase this isolation to 3000VDC.
These new converters are manufactured in RECOM’s new high-tech factory in Taiwan in order to maintain an attractive price. The converters are certified to EN/UL60950-1 and are suitable for a variety of industrial applications. The warranty is 3 years.
