To meet higher wattage requirements, MEAN WELL has added a 160W power supply to it's PSC family. The PSC-160, which is designed for security applications, is available in both a PCB version and an enclosed version. Featuring an additional charger output, the power supply is suited for use in UPS applications.

The power supply, which is equipped with a PFC function, accepts an input range of 90-264VAC and provides outputs of 3.8 and 27.6VDC (with adjustable ranges of 12-15 and 24-29VDC). With an efficiency of 90%, the PSC-160 operates between -20 and +70℃.

The power supply features a number of protection functions, including short circuit protection, overload protection, over voltage protection, battery low protection, and battery reverse polarity protection (by fuse). Via relay contact signal output, an AC OK and battery low alarm function is also provided.

The PSC-160, which complies with UL, CUL, CB, TUV, and CE certificates, is suitable for security, emergency lighting, alarm, DC UPS, central monitoring and access systems.
