Mornsun’s LM-23B series enclosed power supplies are part of the 305 RAC (reliable under all conditions) family. They are in stock at Digi-Key.

The series can be used not only in normal operating conditions but also in applications with requirements for higher input voltage, temperature, humidity, altitude, and EMI (electromagnetic interference).

The input voltage range of the LM-23B series is 85 VAC to 305 VAC/100 VDC to 430 VDC, which solves the three major shortcomings of conventional 85 VAC to 264 VAC input products.

The extended range covers the standard input voltages of 110 VAC, 220 VAC, and277 VAC.

The LM-23B can withstand voltage fluctuations in distribution power grids and generators. They can maintain normal operation even when high input voltage transients are present.

The series meets the requirements for 5000 m altitude applications and has passed a high/low-temperature altitude test and long-term aging test.

With a wide operating temperature range of -30°C to +70°C these power supplies have a strong start-up ability while at a low temperature of -30°C and when they are running at +70°C, the temperature rise of components is still low which allows for a long service life.

Extended isolation voltages are as high as 4000 VAC, no-load power as low as 0.5 W, and efficiency as high as 88%.

These devices adopt a double Y design and meets IEC/EN/UL62368/CCC certification standards.

The power supplies accept AC or DC input (dual-use of same terminal) and offer efficiency up to 88%. They are designed to meet EN61558.

Operating altitude is up to 5000 m, and the power supplies can withstand 335 VAC surge input for 5 seconds

Applications include industrial controls, LEDs, street light controls, security, telecommunications and smart homes.

The power supplies are available now from Digi-Key Electronics in the EMEA region, the Americas and the Asia-Pacific region.
