PCIM Asia strengthens its position in power electronics industry

PCIM Asia 2018 closed its doors boasting a total of more than 5,000 visitors over three days. At the exhibition and conference for power electronics and its applications, 91 national and international exhibitors presented the latest trends and developments on an exhibition area of 7,000m2.

"The past three days have shown that PCIM Asia has once again consolidated its position on the market, and is an important meeting point for power electronics experts in China," stated Lisette Hausser, Vice President of Mesago Messe Frankfurt.

Exhibitor forum as a visitor magnet
The exhibitor forum in the exhibition hall is increasingly becoming a magnet for the trade visitors. Well-known companies such as Mitsubishi, Rohm and Semikron presented their latest products to interested visitors on this platform.

Conference highlights: Visionary keynotes by renowned experts and sessions on e-mobility
The conference also achieved a good result with 387 participants. With the conference held in English, attendees were offered a diverse programme. Highlights included keynote presentations by Professor Enrique Dede, University of Valencia, Spain on 'A Vision on Industrial Induction Heating Converter Technology: Trends and Challenges' and Herman Zhang, Delta Electronics, Taiwan on 'Technology Trends of Emobility Charging'.

Further highlights included special sessions on 'Electric Vehicles' and 'Increasingly intelligent Electrical Motion Systems'. An additional eight oral sessions and two poster sessions complemented the conference programme. For the first time, the conference took place in the exhibition hall.
