MOSFET suits 12V DC/DC synchronous buck applications
Housed in a high performance 4x5 PQFN power block package, the IRFH4257D FastIRFET dual power MOSFET has been announced by International Rectifier. This package expands the power block family’s ability to lower power for compact designs in 12V input DC/DC synchronous buck applications including advanced telecomms and netcomms equipment, servers, graphic cards, desktop, ultrabook and notebook computers.
Featuring IR’s latest-gen silicon and proprietary packaging technology, which offers excellent thermal performance, low RDS(on) and low gate charge, provides the IRFH4257D superior power density and lower switching losses in a compact 4x5 power block.
As with all FastIRFET devices, the MOSFET works with any controller or driver to increase flexibility while delivering higher current, efficiency and frequency capability in single phase or multiphase applications. The IRFH4257D offers designers the option to choose a 4x5 or 5x6 PQFN to suit their design requirements.
Qualified to industrial grade and MSL1, the MOSFET features an environmentally friendly, lead-free and RoHS compliant BOM.
