The modular UPS system UPSI from Bicker Elektronik reportedly ensures the uninterruptible 12/24/48V DC power supply and thus the fail-safe availability of process-relevant systems and components in industrial and medical applications. The UPSI system provides effective protection against power outages, flicker, fluctuations or voltage drops and eliminates costly downtime.

For energy storage either very durable and safe LiFePO4 (Lithium-Iron-Phosphate) battery cells or absolutely maintenance-free and fast-charging Supercaps (ultracapacitors) are available, depending on the application and the bridging time requirements. The well featured DC UPS system UPSI provides regulated output voltage, reboot function, intelligent power sharing, various interfaces (USB, RS232, I2C) and much more.

The modular system is available open-frame for optimum system integration, as well as in a compact DIN rail version with robust aluminium housing. More innovations being shown to the public for the first time at embedded world, are the waterproof IP67 variant UPSI-IP as well as a powerful 12A version with correspondingly high-performance energy storage units.

In addition, new DC-UPS compact modules in DIN rail design with integrated Supercap buffering and wide-range input 16 to 32VDC will be on display at embedded world, on booth 2-101. As a one-stop solution provider Bicker Elektronik also presents latest Power+Board bundles for IPC system development with matching combinations of latest generation industrial mainboards plus high-end power solutions plus industrial grade accessories.
