PULS UK is now offering conformal coating on a number of their power supply models. Conformal coating provides higher operational safety and reliability in a number of installation environments where conditions may be prone to high humidity, vibration, thermal shock or rapid temperature changes, unusually dusty or have airborne contaminants.

Single and three-phase input DIN-Rail models are now available with conformal coating including the SilverLine general purpose SL10-309 power supply and the ML50-109 and ML100-109 from the ultra-compact Mini-Line family. From the market leading Dimension series the CS5.241-C1 low cost power supply, the QS10-241.C1 high-efficiency, feature-rich power supply and the QT20-241.C1. All models offer a 24-28VDC output with power ranging from 50 to 480W.

Harry Moore, Managing Director of PULS UK comments, “We are always looking for ways to make our DIN-Rail products more useful to our customers. With our industry leading very wide operating temperature ranges allowing our customers to use our products in harsh environments or remote locations the availability of conformal coating adds another level of safety and reliability.”

All PULS products are CE marked and have worldwide safety approvals, including UL, EN, CSA and CB Scheme for industrial, home and office installation. Output voltage is user adjustable between 24 to 28VDC, PULS Overload Design™ output protection maintains a high output overload capability and units may be connected in parallel for current share or N+1 installations. Full output power is available over a very wide operating temperature range ensuring continued reliability in extreme environments and a three-year warranty is standard.

Typical applications include paper mills and paper processing plants, railways and construction machinery, farm equipment, protected outdoor installations, fan cooled systems, installations in subtropical locations, lighting, advertising signs and displays, roadside and motorway signs and electronic score boards.
