The CSI 100-3W-F1 series of DC/AC inverters that deliver up to 100VA output power with pure sine wave output voltage, has recently been released by ABSOPULSE Electronics. The units offer an input range of 20-60VDC, which allows operation from 24, 36 and 48VDC input sources, all in a single unit.

Operator error is minimised because the inverter works on all three input voltages. The inverters provide an isolated pure sine wave output of 115 or 230VAC. They employ ABSOPULSE field proven microprocessor controlled CSI111 high frequency PMW topology which contributes to high reliability, compact size and low weight.

The units are suitable for operation in electrical utilities, power plants, telecom, industrial automation and control. The CSI 100-3W-F1 inverters are ruggedised for resistance to shock and vibration (IEC 61373 Cat 1 A&B) and conformal coating provides protection from humidity and airborne contaminants.

Cooled by conduction and natural convection, the units are rated for operation over a 0 to +50°C temperature range for full specification without the need for derating. The input and output are filtered for low noise. The input meets the requirements for EN55022 Class A with wide margins; Class B is available on request.

Electronic protection includes inrush current limiting, over-voltage protection and overload with short-circuit protection. The units are designed to meet C22.2 No. 107.1-01, UL 458 and EN/UL60950-1 and equivalent industrial safety standards.
