Converters suit space critical IGBT applications
The TMV-HI series, a family of high I/O isolation DC/DC converters, has been released by Power Sources Unlimited. Offering 1W of power, the family is comprised of 40 models with input voltage ranges of 5, 12, 15 and 24VDC. The converters feature single output voltages of 3.3, 5, 9, 12 and 15VDC or dual output voltages of ±5, ±9, ±12, ±15 and ±15/-9VDC.
Due to their ultra-compact SIP-7 industry standard package and high isolation of 5200VDC, the family of converters are suitable for space critical IGBT applications used in modern appliances and transportation. The TMV-HI converters, which are UL/cUL 60950-1 and IEC/EN 60950-1 compliant, operate from -40 to +85°C (without power derating) and feature continuous short-circuit protection.
