I2C controlled battery charger for USB input
The BQ25882 from Texas Instruments is a highly-integrated two amp switch-mode battery charge management and system power path management device for dual-cell Li-Ion and Li-polymer batteries. The I2C Serial interface with charging and system settings makes the device a truly flexible solution.
Step-down converter with low quiescent current
The TPS6282x from Texas Instruments is an easy-to-use synchronous step-down DC/DC converters family with a very low quiescent current of only 4µA. Based on the DCS-Control topology, it provides a fast transient response. The internal reference allows to regulate the output voltage down to 0.6V with a high feedback voltage accuracy of one percent over the junction temperature range of -40 to 125°C.
Small-size, low-power comparator with precision reference
The TLV40x1 devices from Texas Instruments are low-power, high-accuracy comparators with precision thresholds and a propagation delay of 360ns. The comparators are available in an ultra-small, DSBGA package measuring 0.73x0.73mm, making the TLV40x1 applicable for space-critical designs like portable or battery-powered electronics where low-power and fast response to changes in operating conditions is required.
