TDK Corporation introduces the TDK-Lambda iJB series of 60A non-isolated SMT DC/DC converters for high current applications. These compact POL modules offer an high power density and operating efficiency from light to full load conditions; they are PMBus read- and write-compliant and digitally controlled, allowing for a great deal of flexibility and customisation.

The iJB series performs local voltage conversion from 8-14VDC bus voltages at up to 93% efficiency and features adjustable output voltages from 0.6 to 2.0V with a precision set point accuracy of 0.5% and extremely accurate current read-back – the digital adaptive control feature accommodates a wide range of external load capacitance. Measuring 26.8x24.1x9.7mm, the iJB power modules offer an extremely high power density and support easy paralleling with interleaving for implementation in higher current applications.

Standard features of the iJB series include negative or positive remote on/off, Power Good signal, remote sense, configurable sequence and fault management capabilities, and fully automatic recovery protection circuitry for over current and over voltage conditions. The convertors address a broad range of applications including communications, test, broadcast and industrial equipment.

Models in the iJB series are approved to UL/CSA/IEC/EN 60950-1. The iJB series carries a 3-year warranty and is CE-marked in accordance with the low voltage (LV) and RoHS Directives.
