1W DC/DC converter modules available in compact packages
Power supply company, TRACO POWER, has announced the release of its TRN 1 family of isolated, high performance DC/DC converter modules that cover a range of low power applications where space is limited. The TRN 1 series feature wide 2:1 input ranges, a full load -40 to 90°C operating temperature range and are available in a compact SIP or SMD package (suffix SM).
The TRN 1 family consists of 64 standard models offering input ranges of 4.5~13.2 / 9~18 / 18~36 / 36~72 VDC; and output voltages of 3.3, 5, 12, 15, 24, ±5, ±12, ±15 VDC.
These 1W DC/DC converters feature tight regulation (0.2% Line / one percent Load max) with no minimum load required; 1,600 VDC I/O Isolation; efficiency ranging from 77~82%; full load operating temperature range of -40 to 90°C; short-circuit protection; and MTBF of 7,400,000h per MIL-HDBK-217F at 25°C.
Units are potted in a non-conductive plastic case and measure 0.47x0.30x0.43” (SIP) or 0.47x0.44x0.30 (SMD).
Units are manufactured to IEC 60950-1 standards, qualified to MIL-STD-810F Thermal Shock & Vibration standards, are Reach / RoHS compliant and supported with a three year warranty.
