Coilcraft’s XPL2010 series of ultra-small, magnetically shielded power inductors combine excellent current handling, low DC resistance and inductance values up to 220µH in a package that measures just 1.9x2.0mm. The series offers DCR as low as 0.027Ω and current ratings up to 3.75A.

They are available with 22 inductance values of 0.20-220µH, and their soft saturation characteristics make them ideal for point-of-load (POL) DC/DC converter applications. They are also AEC-Q200 Grade 1 (from -40 to +125°C) qualified for use in harsh automotive environments.

XPL2010 series power inductors feature RoHS compliant silver-copper (96.5/3/0.5) over tin over nickel over silver-platinum terminations and offer a maximum reflow temperature of +260°C. COTS Plus tin-lead terminations are also available.

As with all Coilcraft parts, free evaluation samples for the XPL2010 are available online. Coilcraft also offers a Designer’s Kit (C428) that contains five samples of all 22 values of the XPL2010.
