250V ceramic capacitors in C0G dielectric and a 0402 case size have been released by KEMET. The devices, which feature values of up to 330pF, are claimed to be a world first. Eliminating piezoelectric noise, the capacitors offer low ESR and ESL and high thermal stability.

The devices, available in both commercial and automotive grades, are suitable for critical timing, tuning, decoupling, bypass, filtering and blocking applications. The capacitors can also be used within circuits requiring low loss, circuits with pulse, high current, transient voltage suppression and energy storage.

The 250V C0G capacitors are available now and offered in a variety of termination finish options, including matte tin, tin-lead and gold.
