Optimised industrial camera sensor lenses
Industrial camera sensors come in a wide range of sizes from 1/4-inch to 1-inch and beyond. The lens(es) you choose to integrate into your product will play a pivotal role in determining your camera performance. A lower resolution lens will reduce the achievable image quality from a high megapixel camera sensor.
Likewise selecting non-optimised lenses may compromise your products performance due to limiting the field of view (FOV), increase image distortion or vignette light impacting your camera sensor.
Having a lens custom designed to match your camera sensor will unlock the full potential of your product and also will give you an edge over competitive cameras using non-optimised optics.
For larger format camera sensors (>1.5”) few off-the-shelf lenses exist. As well as providing very high resolution over a large image format – Resolve Optics has designed several sensor matched large format lenses.
