LED strip lights offer dual-colour operation
Dual-colour LED strip lights, designed for industrial lighting applications requiring more than one colour, have been released by Banner Engineering. The WLS28-2 Dual Color LED Strip Lights, which feature a durable, low-profile and efficient design, are suitable for applications such as motor vehicle illumination and machine status indication.
The strip lights are offered in rugged aluminium housings in various lengths from 285 to 1130mm. Operators can choose from four models: stand-alone cable, stand-alone push button QD, sealed cascadable and lensed cascadable. To provide even, bright and efficient illumination, the strip lights offer enhanced light quality using bright, densely spaced LEDs.
Designed to provide more than 50,000 hours of continuous operation with minimal loss of intensity, the WLS28-2 strip lights consume less than 9W per foot. The colours in which the strip lights are offered in include cool and warm white, red, green, blue and yellow. To meet a range of installation requirements, the strip lights are available in top, side and magnetic mounting options and multiple bracket styles.
IP67 and water-resistant IP69K versions of the strip lights are available for demanding environments. To protect the device in extreme conditions, the strip lights also have an internal temperature monitoring circuit, which prevents the light from overheating.
