MaxLite has expanded its line of LED PAR30 and PAR38 lamps to include 277V versions. The LED PAR lamps are suitable for retrofitting recessed, track and other lighting fixtures used in architectural, retail and hospitality applications that operate on 277V electrical systems.

Suitable for spot or general lighting, the lamps feature instant-on technology and deliver a high-quality light with outstanding colour rendering. MaxLite's LED PAR lamps feature lumen output made possible by a CoB LED package that produces a bright light with superior thermal performance. The 17W PAR38 delivers up to 1,800lm, equivalent to the output of a 120W incandescent bulb, with a 40° beam angle. For fixtures with more depth, the long neck 13W PAR 30 produces up to 1,200lm, replacing up to a 90W incandescent bulb. The PAR30 and PAR38 lamps are offered in 3000K and 4000K colour temperatures and are rated to a lifetime of 25,000 hours at L70 standards.

“We are pleased to be able to offer a 277V version of our popular PAR lamps for applications where converting voltage would be costly or labour intensive,” said Alex Truong, Product Manager, MaxLite. “By removing this obstacle, facility managers can easily convert their fixtures to LED for instant energy savings.”

The non-dimmable lamps are suitable for damp locations such as indoor washrooms and outdoor canopies and operate in a temperature range of -20 to +40°C. They may not be used in enclosed luminaires.
