Connecting VC MIPI cameras to NVIDIA developer kits
Vision Components has announced that it offers software support for Auvidea adapter boards, which can connect multiple VC MIPI camera modules to NVIDIA Jetson TX2 and Xavier AGX developer kits. Drivers are provided, enabling developers to start work on their embedded vision projects immediately. Auvidea's tested and validated J20 adapter board supports all available VC MIPI cameras.
NIR-MX800-LN series phase electro-optical modulators
LASER COMPONENTS has introduced iXblue’s NIR-MX800-LN amplitude and NIR-MPX800 phase electro-optical modulators featuring a wide bandwidth of up to 40GHz, designed to operate between 780nm to 960nm. The modulator chip is tested for wavelengths 780nm, 850nm or 950nm to guarantee mono-mode propagation property over the optical LiNbO3 waveguide.
SiTek PSD 2L30 high resolution position sensitive detector
According to LASER COMPONENTS, due to its large detection area of 30x30mm, the SiTek PSD 2L30 achieves a resolution of more than 1/1.000.000. The detector field is mounted on a robust and insulating ceramic substrate, while a protective glass cover prevents disruptive environmental influences.
TFT display modules feature IPS and 1200cd/m² brightness
KOE (Kaohsiung Opto-Electronics) has introduced two new 8.0" Rugged+ TFT display modules.
MagnaChip expands its UHD TV BLU LED driver IC portfolio
MagnaChip has announced the launch of two new LED Driver ICs for UHD TV BLU (Back Light Unit). The two new models are 1-channel and 2-channel products developed for mid-range UHD TVs. An essential component of LED display panels, a BLU LED driver IC is a power semiconductor device that delivers consistent lighting across the LED display panel. It also enables the BLU to adjust ambient light settings and generate a consistent image quality.
Thermopile detectors requiring no cooling
LASER COMPONENTS has a long-established relationship with Dexter Research Centre. Thermopile detectors are passive radiation sensing devices requiring no bias or cooling and generate an output voltage in the range of micro to millivolts. The spectral absorption of these detectors is flat from the UV to the far infrared with wavelength sensitivity only limited by the choice of the optical element which seals the TO can.
Nokia selects VIAVI to validate performance of coherent optical modules
Viavi Solutions has announced that Nokia has validated its coherent optical modules using the VIAVI ONT 800G FLEX DCO Module, which tests pluggable (CFP2) Digital Coherent Optics (DCO) modules. Nokia utilised this test capability as a beta customer, providing valuable feedback, and ultimately purchased the first ONT 800G FLEX DCO Module upon release.
Smartoptics introduces the DCP-F family of active optical units
Smartoptics has announced the availability of the DCP-F family of active optical units for xWDM open line systems. The new family allows for an unprecedented flexibility in configuring optical point-to-point, ring and mesh networks at the lowest possible cost. All products in the DCP-F family are available for immediate delivery.
Toshiba new compact-sized photorelay P-SON4 package
Toshiba Electronics Europe has introduced more photorelays to its expansive portfolio. All three of these devices are housed in the new P-SON4 package format. They are able to deliver very strong performance characteristics, while taking up significantly less board space than commonly used SOP packages
Photorelays from Toshiba reduce mounting density
Toshiba Electronics Europe has launched three new photorelays, the TLP3407SRA, TLP3475SRHA and TLP3412SRHA. With a 2.0x1.45mm footprint, they are some of the smallest voltage-driven photorelays on the market and offer an extended operating temperature rating of 125°C.
