This is a novel fully differential amplifier (FDA) that includes both independent input common-mode (VICM) and output-common mode (VOCM) control, while standard FDAs possess only output common-mode control.

It is a decompensated amplifier with a minimum stable gain of 10V/V.

It operates as a fully differential transimpedance amplifier (TIA) and analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) driver in a single integrated stage.

Applications for the THS4567 include absolute optical encoders, AC drive position feedback, linear motor position sensors, clinical pulse oximeters, and optical coherence tomography.
