TI 12-bit ADC is in stock at Mouser
The TLA2518 analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) from Texas Instruments is now being shipped by distributor Mouser Electronics.
It is an easy-to-use, 8-channel, multiplexed, 12-bit, 1MSPS, successive approximation register (SAR) ADC.
The eight channels can be independently configured as either analogue inputs, digital inputs, or digital outputs.
The device has an internal oscillator for the ADC conversion process.
It communicates via an SPI compatible interface and supports averaging multiple data samples with a single start of conversion.
Built-in programmable averaging filters help reduce noise from the analogue inputs and reduce the number of data samples required to be read by the host.
Applications for the TLA2518 ADC include macro remote radio units (RRU), battery management systems (BMS), string inverters, and central inverters.
