Mouser Electronics, Inc has announced it is stocking the C8051F9xx line of MCUs from Silicon Laboratories Inc. The C8051F9xx line of MCUs is said to offer the lowest voltage, greatest power efficiency, highest functional density, and best-in-class tools.

The low-voltage, low-power C8051F9xx is the industry’s first MCU fully operational down to 0.9V. With an integrated DC-DC converter, the device can operate over the 0.9 -1.8V and 1.8-3.6V ranges, thus supporting both single and dual battery operation. The integrated DC-DC converter can also supply current to external devices to create an entire solution capable of operating off of a single battery. The C8051F9xx product family provides a fast wake-up time, low active-mode, and ultra-low sleep mode current consumptions, making them ideal for low power applications.

The C8051F9xx is the industry’s first device to pack 64kB of Flash and 4kB of RAM into a 4 x 4mm package, offering unprecedented functional density. All the devices within the family include a SmaRTClock oscillator, a low-power 20MHz oscillator, and a burst mode 10-bit ADC with a fast start-up internal voltage reference.

“By immediately stocking the newest products like the C8051F9xx family of MCUs from Silicon Labs, our design engineering customer base can develop with the newest products on the market, allowing them to differentiate their products in the marketplace,” said Mike Scott, Mouser’s Vice President of Active Products.

Known for its broad-based product line, unsurpassed customer service, and streamlined warehouse operations, Mouser continuously offers customers the most innovative products and latest technologies for their new design projects.

Mouser Electronics is the only major distributor to publish a new 2,100+ page print catalog every 90 days. In addition, its website with interactive online catalog is updated daily, contains more than 925,000 products for easy online purchase, provides over 1.5 million cross-references, as well as more than 677,000 downloadable data sheets, supplier-specific reference designs, application notes, and other technical design information.
