Extending its advanced ultra-low power CMOS logic family, Diodes Incorporated has introduced dual-gate devices. The 74AUP2G logic devices support low-voltage, low-power system design which helps to extend battery life in super slim, next-gen portable products, such as smart phones and tablets. The devices provide seven dual gate logic functions: AND, NAND, OR, NOR, XOR and a choice of two tri-state buffers.

The 74AUP2G logic devices operate from a 0.8-3.6V supply voltage while delivering a standard ±4mA output. Quiescent current of less than 0.9µA enables low static power consumption, while a typical CPD rating of 6pF at 3.6V reduces dynamic power consumption.

The components are designed to complement the company’s previously released 74AUP2G 6-pin dual-gate and 74AUP1G single-gate advanced ultra-low power logic devices.

Supplied in the miniature, leadless 8-pin DFN1210 package the logic devices measure just 1.2x1.0x0.35mm and are priced at $0.12 each in 5,000 single reel quantities.
